Types of Protectors
"Military Grade" the original one is made by Zagg, with many imitators following suit.
Pros: Scratch resistant
Cons: Wet application, 24hr dry time, fingers get "stuck" while scrolling, difficult to remove & residue is left on screen
Ultra-Clear
Pros: Dry application, scratch resistant, excellent clarity, easy & residue free removal, very smooth scrolling due to a layer of silicone
Cons: Glossy & reflective surface
Anti-Glare & Anti-Fingerprint: Exclusive to Aurum (TM)
Pros: Dry application, highly scratch resistant, excellent clarity, dramatically reduces glare, eliminates fingerprints due to lipophilic (oil repelling) properties,
easy & residue-free removal and very smooth scrolling due to a layer of silicone
Cons: Priced slightly higher than the other types of screen protectors
NOTE: Inexpensive protectors (like 3-packs) tend to cause the screen to look very grainy.
Aurum(TM) carries dry application protectors only, frankly we don't like to spray water on our tablets and neither should you. The protectors are designed with
medium size openings for the camera and sensors which allows for more wiggle room during installation, no need to be "perfect".
If you are spending $500 on your tablet, you should invest a few extra $ to get the best protector, period.

Unless you would just like to donate some money to the seller....look elsewhere. Followed directions carefully, but nevertheless, screen protector ended up with so many bubbles, my device was unusable. I tried several times to smooth bubbles out by partially relifting the protector and pressing down with a squeegee (as the card that comes with it is pretty small) to no avail. I waited 24 hours and tried once again but just do yourself a favor and buy a screen protector that comes in packs of threes (cheaper too). I figured that since you only received one protector for more than the price of 3 then it would be easier to install but this was not the case. Contacted seller but was told that he could refund my money only if the item was returned in a new and unused condition. This was repeated 3 times even after I explained that it obviously was "used" Really?? Save your money!!

When I purchased my Thrive tablet last week, I swore I wouldn't spend $20 just for a colored back. But then I started thinking...I have colored skins and cases for my phones, ipods, kindle... so why not this? Black is so NOT my color!
I purchased the Raspberry Fusion. It is a brighter/richer color than the photos show. It is beautiful!
As for switching the back, it was a bit of a struggle. It doesn't pop off as easily as implied. I found that by using a dime in the speaker slots, I was able to finally pry the back off but just be warned, it does make a very disconcerting snap when it finally releases. Just take your time and slowly work your way around. Snapping the new cover in place was a breeze.
If you want to personalize your Thrive, this is your option since a skin can't be applied to the ridged back.
I love color in my life and am very happy I made the switch.

I ordered the Thrive colored back as most products do not give you this option. It fits just like the original black one and feels just like the original one. I have also ordered a blue one so that I can change colors according to my taste.
