This is the same type of screen protector I have on my smart phones and Nintendo DS Lite. It does not use glue or liquids. It simply has a very light tacky backing that peel off easy without residue. Living in Phoenix, AZ, there is WAY too much dust here. I turned off all fans and AC to make sure as little dust was moving around as possible during install. I used bright light at an angle so I could see dust on the screen and was literally wiping away dust with a micro cloth (included) right before application. I am posting pics as well to show that I did get one speck of dust under it. When that happens, there is nothing you can do. If you lift it up the dust will be on the protector, not the Thrive screen. And you can't remove the dust from the protector with making it worse. Which is likely why... While it comes with a card to push the air bubbles out, it doesn't work. My husband has a screen protector for his ipad, which came with a solution. Using that he was able to adhere the protector without bubbles! In addition, both screen protectors came bent. (I know that is the shipper's problem, but the packaging would have helped.) This screen protector is an oil magnet. Constantly having to clean it so that it viewable. The worst problem of all was first noticed on the Thrive discussion board. If you try and remove this protector it leaves a film that is VERY hard to get off. I recommend going with Ghost Armor or as a second choice Zagg. Save your money and learn from those before you. Skip this product. |
